The
AFU special forces' Major Sergey Ivanchuk has told about preparation by
the Security Service of Ukraine of an act of terrorism against the Head
of the Donetsk People's Republic Alexander Zaharchenko, Ivanchuk said
during an interrogation in the LPR MGB.
Ivanchuk was a member of the network of sabotage
and reconnaissance groups, neutralized by the LPR law enforcement
officers. The saboteur has already confessed to involvement in the
murder of Colonel Oleg Anashchenko, the head of the LPR People's Militia
Office.
"I was offered missions in the Donetsk People's Republic. The conversation took place in the building of SBU in Sambutsky. We were tasked with the 'Specialist' (the Head of the LPR People's Militia Colonel Oleg Anashchenko, (besides) SBU officer, a bald one, I do not know him, I asked if we could accomplish tasks in the Donetsk People's Republic - that is to blast the car of the DPR Head on the route to the Uspenka checkpoint"
He also noted that one of the saboteurs' tasks was
to screw into favour of Mikhail Tolstykh, commander of the Somali
battalion with the call sign 'Givi'. Earlier the LPR MGB reported that
personnel of the 8th regiment of the AFU Special Operations Forces had
been involved in Tolstykh's murder, and Ivanchuk served in that
regiment.
