In Ukraine, 60% of population lives below poverty line – UN

In Ukraine today, 60% of the population lives below the poverty line. This was stated at a press conference by the Permanent Representative to the United Nations Development Program in Ukraine Neil Walker.
"As for Ukraine, we are talking about 1.7 million internally displaced persons, 2.8 million people with disabilities and that 60% of the population is below the poverty line," he said.
Presenting the UNDP Human Development Report, he noted that "this report has useful information that can be used for Ukraine, given its specific context."
